Summary: Abdur Rehman Khan served as the imam at BCMA, also known as Masjid-ur-Rahmah, and was charged with assaulting a woman in July 2016. Granted bail and citing a “personal matter” for his absence, he returned to his position as the imam, with the board members allegedly being unaware of his crimes. After his trial and conviction in January 2020, he went back to work until August 2020, when he was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
