Summary: Ehab Ghoneim served as a youth director at the Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area (ISTABA). He has been accused by multiple minors of giving them sedatives and then molesting them at his home. At least five victims, who Ghoneim supervised as the youth director, have been identified and a lawsuit of $5 million has been filed against ISTABA. ISTABA is accused of removing Ghoneim from his position as youth director once they were made aware of the allegations and reassigning him in an advisory capacity without any notice or disclosure to the families affected or the congregation. Individuals from the Islamic Center of South Jersey (ICSJ) in Monmouth, New Jersey have stated that concerns were raised during his time there but nothing was addressed, and he moved to Tampa without consequence.
