Summary: Mohammad Masroor was an imam and teacher at Baitul Mukarram Islamic Society in Toronto and was charged with 13 offenses of at least six victims. Authorities suspect there were many more abroad, as Masroor had also worked and taught in countries around the world, including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Germany, and Hungary. He was also wanted in Michigan and Florida for criminal sexual conduct. He was previously acquitted of the charges but then rearrested in Toronto and extradited to the United States, where he is now imprisoned.
